I had the gift of working with Jewlz and Dudley the horse last week. I've always wanted to be near horses, never having grown up with them. I loved it. But what I learned has resonated with me and I have found myself talking about it with others. Besides the absolute pleasure and thrill of working with both of them, the experience showed me how I show up in relationships; although I had an idea of who I am in life, my eyes were opened to a crucial piece that I had never truly understood before. Jewlz and Dudley showed me that relationship happens in the place between boundaries. There is so much more, but I wanted to share this so that others can have the opportunity to experience the profound life lessons that I have. I am forever grateful. Thank you!
It was my first experience with EFL and I loved it a lot. Juliana was very well prepared and switched up the program based on my needs. It’s surprising how much horses can teach you about yourself! Definetely worth doing!
I highly recommend her! It was so great to find someone here in Malta who shares the same views and training techniques as me and helping me and my sisters much further with our riding/handling skills and relationship to the horses that we are working than we could ever imagined! She gave me the confirmation that we are on the right path! Juliana listens to what the horse has to say and gives them the choice to decide (which is for me very important) - because of that I trusted her 100% and I could leave her train my horse when I am not there, which is for me very rare since I am very wary with who handles my horses. She never raised her voice or used pressure on them and you could see the expression of the horses that they were very content and relaxed when working with her. You could see that she has loads of experience with horses and their owner and how to make them a better team. One of the most important lessons I learned from her is to stop and start listening to what the horse has to say. Through that we found out that my mare when acting up, was due to the fact that she was very empathic and picked up on that I was not very relaxed/concentrated/in the right place enough. And we noticed as well that she needed loads of space and felt always too crowded when working in a faster pace and when more than one person is there (e.g. cleaning her). I found it always very nice to see that even when giving a riding lesson and the focus is on the rider, she still would check in on the horse and talk to him/her. You don't see that often. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU Juliana! Glad to have met you and call you a friend! We will miss you dearly here and good luck with everything!
Juliana is the "real deal." A truly compassionate equestrian, educated in the fine art of traditional riding, yet well rounded in her contemporary education in regards to EFL and the higher consciousness of human/equine connectivity.
I feel very lucky that I had EFL sessions with Jewlz. I have already experienced EFL before, but her classes were different, unique. Each class has given me a new perspective about my life and skills related to interpersonal topics.
